Jasper Park Liquor

Built in 1936, our location has only had 2 previous owners. We are currently the proud owners of this class 'A' heritage building which has been in the family since 1960. Many different ventures have seen success in this building besides the current Jasper Park Liquor and Vicious Cycle combination.

As a family owned business in operation since privatization in 1994, we are Jasper’s most unique liquor store. Quaintly located in one of Jasper’s heritage buildings on Jasper’s main street, Connaught Drive, with a large parking lot across the street.

The wooden interior creates a cozy atmosphere while boasting a great selection of cold beer, wine, spirits and unique liquors plus mixed drinks. Come in and check us out - we’re sure you’ll be impressed. Our wines have been carefully hand chosen by our knowledgeable owner with almost 600 selections and we specifically specialize in Canadian wine with over 200 selections. Our educated staff are always on hand to assist you!

Owner

Tamara Vathje

Current owner, Tamara Vathje, has had a passion for the wine industry even before we opened in 1994. She makes yearly trips to the Okanagan Valley, home of numerous award winning BC wines and has even ventured out to the Niagara region to visit the wine country in the east of Canada.

She has taken her Level 1 and Level 2 ISG (International Sommelier Guild) and keeps current by attending various classes and tastings throughout the year.

Hinton & District SPCA

We are SPCA Supporters. Our store is a place where you can drop off supplies (food, blankets, other useful items), empty bottles for fundraising and we also match all the donation boxes throughout the town of Jasper!

The SPCA we support the most is our local chapter, the Hinton and District SPCA which services Jasper, Hinton, Edson and Grande Cache. However due to a very positive experience we also support the Cochrane & Area Humane Society.
